Honey Mustard Chicken Breast

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup honey mustard dressing store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced (optional)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika optional, for extra flavor

Instructions
 

Prep The Chicken

  • Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Cook The Chicken

  • Stovetop Method (Quickest!)
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add chicken and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, brush or spoon the honey mustard dressing over the chicken, and cover.
  • Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  • Oven Method (For hands-off cooking)
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place chicken in a baking dish, brush with honey mustard dressing, and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  • Broil for the last 2 minutes for a golden, slightly caramelized finish.

Serve & Enjoy!

  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  • Serve with a side of veggies, rice, or a fresh salad.
