Chocolate Sheet Cake

CAKE:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cubes butter
- 1 cup water
- 4 TBSP cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
FROSTING:
- 1 cube butter
- 6 TBSP milk
- 4 TBSP cocoa powder
- 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
CAKE:
In a large bowl mix flour and sugar. In a saucepan, combine the butter, cocoa powder and water, bring to a rapid boil. Then pour over the flour & sugar mixture. Mix well. Add eggs, vanilla, buttermilk & baking soda. Mix well then pour on a greased and floured jelly roll pan (15 ½ x 10 ½ inches). Bake for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Five minutes before the cake is done, prepare the icing.
ICING:
In a saucepan, bring to boil the butter, milk and cocoa powder. Once these items have come to a rapid boil, add in powdered sugar and vanilla and mix well. Pour this frosting over the cake while the cake is still hot.
