Bourbon Sour

Fizzy whiskey sour made with bourbon and egg whites.

Ingredients
  

  • 2oz bourbon
  • 3/4oz lemon juice can be lime juice or mixture of both
  • 1/2oz simple syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Garnish: Angostura Bitters

Instructions
 

  • Combine bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup, & egg white in cocktail shaker. Shake for 30 seconds WITHOUT ice.
  • Add ice to shaker. Shake for at least another 30 seconds until chilled.
  • Pour slowly over one or two cubes of ice in short tumbler.
  • Add just a few drops of bitters over the foam
