
Honey Mustard Chicken Breast
Simple chicken
Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- ¼ cup honey mustard dressing store-bought or homemade
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced (optional)
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika optional, for extra flavor
Instructions
Prep The Chicken
- Pat the chicken dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cook The Chicken
- Stovetop Method (Quickest!)
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken and sear for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, brush or spoon the honey mustard dressing over the chicken, and cover.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Oven Method (For hands-off cooking)
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place chicken in a baking dish, brush with honey mustard dressing, and bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Broil for the last 2 minutes for a golden, slightly caramelized finish.
Serve & Enjoy!
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve with a side of veggies, rice, or a fresh salad.
