Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts

Air Fryer Brussel Sprouts

Stefani Baskin
I absolutely LOVE fried Brussel Sprouts but all that grease is definitely not good for me. I love this healthier option while still being able to enjoy one of my favorite sides!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved*
  • 1 ½ tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 small garlic cloves minced or pressed through a garlic press
  • 4 tablespoons grated Pecorino Romano or Parmesan cheese**
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned breadcrumbs I like 4C or use gluten-free crumbs
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the Brussels sprouts with 1 tablespoon olive oil and ¼ teaspoon kosher salt. Toss to evenly coat.
  • Add the sprouts to the air fryer basket and air fry 350F until golden brown and tender, about 14 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until crisp tender.
  • Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, black pepper and remaining ½ tablespoon oil and mix well.
  • Open the air fryer basket and evenly spread over the Brussels sprouts, then spritz with olive oil spray. Air fry 350F for 2 minutes until golden.
  • No Air Fryer, No Worries – Use your standard oven at 450F about 15 minutes then top with crumbs and bake 3 to 5 more minutes.
