Butter Cookies

These butter cookies are simple to make. Delicious and buttery, an enjoyable snack. (An electric mixer is needed for the butter)

Ingredients
  

  • 250 g butter
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup cornstarch
  • 1/3 cup milk powder

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, beat the butter until smooth and creamy
  • Slowly add the sugar while beating the butter
  • After, add the egg, vanilla, and lemon juice into the bowl and mix it (not using the electric mixer)
  • Next, add the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, cornstarch, and milk powder into the bowl
  • Scoop out balls of cookie dough, place them on a baking sheet, and flatten the cookie dough balls. If you have cookie stamps, then use the cookie stamp to add designs to the cookies.
  • Bake them in 177C or 350F for 14 minutes or until golden
  • Let them cool and enjoy the butter cookies
