
Chocolate Cobbler
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1 3/4 cup sugar split into 1 cup and 3/4 cup
- 6 tbsp cocoa split into 2 tbsp and 4 tbsp
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Melt butter in 8×8 pan
- Mix flour, 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tbsp cocoa in bowl
- Mix milk and vanilla into dry mixture, pour mixture over melted butter in 8×8 pan.
- Mix 1 cup sugar and 4 tbsp cocoa and sprinkle over batter.
- Slowly pour boiling water over mixture.
- Bake 40-50 minutes until set.
- TIP: Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
