Ingredients

  • 170 g of chocolate
  • 85 g of unsweetened chocolate
  • ½ cup chocolate chips do not melt
  • 1/3 cup cashews optional
  • 1 stick unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup white sugar or brown sugar
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp powdered coffee
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix the eggs, powdered coffee, vanilla, and sugar. Set aside the wet mixture.
  • In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside the dry mixture.
  • In a pan, melt the butter, chocolate, and unsweetened chocolate.
  • Once the chocolate mixture cools down, add the wet and dry mixture.
  • Mix half of the chocolate chips and cashews into the mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into baking pan and sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 15 minutes or until cooked in a 170 C or 338 F oven. To check if the brownies are cooked, insert a toothpick into the center and if it comes out clean then the brownies are ready.
  • After baking the brownies, let cool, cut into squares, and enjoy your brownies.
