Equipment

  • 1 cast iron pan

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 lb lean steak (loin)
  • tsp salt
  • tsp pepper
  • tsp garlic powder

Instructions
 

  • Season steak and let sit until room temperature
  • Heat butter in cast iron pan on med-high heat
  • Sear steak 6 min each side (or to preferred temp)
  • Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes before carving
