Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

A healthier twist on a timeless recipe!! Easily vegan/dairy free as well – but you’d never know it because they’re so tasty!!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour can also use all-purpose
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk any kind
  • 3 tbsp neutral oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 medium banana completely mashed
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 and put 6 paper liners into a muffin tin.
  • Sift all dry ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Add wet ingredients into the same bowl and gently stir together until just combined.
  • Gently stir in chocolate chips.
  • Spoon into the 6 lined muffin tin cups and bake 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. 🙂
