
Cheesy Taco Pasta
This is a wonderful, quick dinner dish that kids love!
Ingredients
- 16- oz Medium Shell Pasta
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 16 oz of Salsa – your choice of spice
- 8 oz of shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain, reserving 1 cup pasta water.
- Meanwhile, cook beef until browned and crumbly over medium heat. Drain and return to skillet.
- Add 1/2 cup of reserved pasta water, salsa and seasoning mix; cook 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Stir in hot pasta and cheese until blended. Use the remaining pasta water as needed.
