Chocolate Cobbler

Ingredients
  

  • 6 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup self rising flour
  • 1 3/4 cup sugar split into 1 cup and 3/4 cup
  • 6 tbsp cocoa split into 2 tbsp and 4 tbsp
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup boiling water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Melt butter in 8×8 pan
  • Mix flour, 3/4 cup sugar and 2 tbsp cocoa in bowl
  • Mix milk and vanilla into dry mixture, pour mixture over melted butter in 8×8 pan.
  • Mix 1 cup sugar and 4 tbsp cocoa and sprinkle over batter.
  • Slowly pour boiling water over mixture.
  • Bake 40-50 minutes until set.
  • TIP: Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
