Cast Iron Steak
Equipment
- 1 cast iron pan
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 lb lean steak (loin)
- tsp salt
- tsp pepper
- tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Season steak and let sit until room temperature
- Heat butter in cast iron pan on med-high heat
- Sear steak 6 min each side (or to preferred temp)
- Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes before carving
